Shipwreck Stew


2 lbs of ground meat
1 sweet onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cans diced tomatoes (don’t drain)
2 cans whole kernel corn (don’t drain)
2 cans kidney beans (don’t drain)
5 small potatoes diced

Crumble and brown meat.
Add onion and garlic to meat and cook until onion is soft.
Add in spices
Add in cans
Add in potatoes
Mix everything well. Bring to a boil and then lower temp to simmer.
Simmer until potatoes are soft. (You can simmer on low for 4-6 hours for more flavor).
Leftovers can be frozen.
