Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs of beef steak
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup Swerve Brown Sugar or Truvia
2/3 cup water
2 green onions

Directions
Cut beef into strips. Cut against the grain. (Watch video for explanation if you are not sure)
Place beef strips in a mixing bowl with cornstarch.
Coat beef strips with cornstarch.
In slow cooker, mix sesame oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water.
Mix well.
Mix in beef strips and cover with sauce.
Cook on high 2 -3 hours or on low 3 – 4 hours.
Mix in green onions before serving.

White Rice
Bring 2 cups of water or broth to a boil and 1/2 tablespoon of butter.
Add in 1 cup of rice.
Stir and cover.
Reduce heat to low and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Do not stir or remove lid while cooking.
Once all liquid is absorbed, remove lid and fluff rice with fork.
Serve beef over rice.
